Description
A sculptural ceramic table lamp featuring an organic, teardrop-form base with a richly textured crackle glaze, paired with a bold handwoven wool shade in saturated jewel tones.
The ceramic body is hand-thrown with a softly tapered neck and rounded lower form. Finished in a speckled glaze that transitions from deep charcoal at the shoulder to a lighter stone-gray toward the base, the surface reveals pronounced crackling and subtle tonal variation, an intentional, kiln-driven effect that enhances the lamp's tactile, artisanal quality. The glaze pools and breaks naturally along the curves, emphasizing the handmade character of the piece.
The cylindrical shade is crafted from thick wool roving woven over a visible vertical warp, creating an open, dimensional structure. Colors shift fluidly between plum, aubergine, magenta, dusty lavender, and warm camel. When illuminated, the shade glows from within, intensifying the saturated hues and casting dramatic, textural light patterns onto surrounding walls.
