Description
A sophisticated modern coffee table designed by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia, combining architectural precision with the refined material palette for which Italian modern design is celebrated.
The table features a sculptural die-cast aluminum frame supporting a beautifully tailored black leather platform, finished with precise perimeter stitching. A substantial clear glass top floats above the leather base on polished aluminum supports, creating a striking interplay of transparency, texture and metal.
The glass is particularly distinctive, with a beveled edge and flattened corners that give the expansive top a more architectural profile. The black leather is impressed with the B&B Italia maker's mark, and the table retains its Made in Italy for U.S.A. label.
At nearly five feet wide, the table has a strong visual presence while the transparent glass keeps it from appearing overly heavy. Its low, horizontal proportions make it particularly well suited to large-scale contemporary living rooms, modernist residences, executive offices, hotel lounges and sophisticated hospitality interiors.
An excellent choice for interior designers and collectors seeking an authentic example of Italian modern furniture by one of the most influential designers associated with B&B Italia.
