Pair of Ceramic Table Lamps by Noomi Backhausen for Søholm

Creator: Noomi Backhausen - Søholm Stentøj – Soholm ceramics
Offered by: Original in Berlin

Description
Pair of large Danish Søholm ceramic table lamps designed by Noomi Backhausen in the 1960s. Both lamps have a rounded stoneware body with a warm beige ground, brown and blue-green glaze, and a distinctive geometric floral decoration with circular motifs. The decoration continues around the body, with horizontal bands around the lower section. The heavily textured glaze gives each lamp subtle variations in colour and surface. The shade is shown for presentation. If you’re interested in a specific shade or would like something similar, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to make you an offer. The height was measured from the bottom edge to the top of the lamp socket. Søholm Stentøj, also known as Søholm Stoneware, was a Danish ceramics company that was existing from 1835 until 1996 on the island of Bornholm. The company was known for producing high-quality stoneware pottery with distinctive glazes and designs.
Please note: Lamp should be fitted professionally in accordance to local requirements.
