Description
Italian Sculptural Carved Gilt Wood Table / Vanity Mirror, circa 1950
An exquisite Italian Mid-Century table mirror that seamlessly blends organic texture with refined decorative craft. The frame features a undulating, scalloped outer edge accentuated by finely carved fluted gilding, which catches light along its dimensional crests. A delicate egg-and-dart motif lining the mirror plate. Supported by its original easel back, this freestanding piece displays a wonderful patinated surface with gentle, authentic wear to the gilding that enhances its vintage character. Highly versatile, it lends a sculptural, jewel-like elegance to a vanity, console, or dressing table setting.
