Description
This elegant pair of Brazilian armchairs combines architectural clarity with the warmth and expressive character of aged caviúna wood. The frames are defined by tall, gently inclined backrests, slender tapered legs, and sculpted open arms that flow into sharply angled front supports. Their restrained geometry gives the chairs a light, graceful profile, while the broad seats and upholstered back cushions provide comfort and visual balance.
The caviúna frames display rich honey-caramel and reddish-brown tones, animated by dark, highly figured grain. Natural tonal variation and subtle signs of aging preserve the wood’s authentic character, lending each chair depth and individuality without diminishing the refinement of the pair.
Newly upholstered in thick green velvet, the cushions introduce a soft, tactile contrast to the structured wooden frames. The muted olive-sage green color has a subtle glow that responds beautifully to changing light, while self-welted edges create a clean, tailored finish.
Versatile in scale and presence, these chairs can be used as head chairs at a dining table, as occasional or accent chairs in a living room, or as a sophisticated pair in a library, bedroom, office, or reception area. -
