Marshall Watson & Reid Deane Ganes
Showrooms
With more than four decades of design experience, Marshall Watson and his partners, Kate Reid, Alissa Deane, and Mercedes Ganes craft luxurious homes with expertise and creativity. Known for creating interiors that are timeless, layered, and inviting, the team at MW&RDG has designed projects across the globe, from Sweden to the Bahamas, London to Mexico, and throughout the United States from New York to California and everywhere in between. At the heart of MW&RDG is a commitment to creating homes that reflect the individuality and aspirations of their clients. Each project is meticulously curated, starting with an in-depth understanding of the clients’ desires and lifestyle, and an immersion in the locale. This personalized approach ensures that every design encapsulates a unique narrative specific to each client. While no two projects look the same, MW&RDG infuses every space with timeless sophistication. Classic design elements and architectural details are seamlessly integrated with modern sensibilities, resulting in elegant interiors that transcend passing trends. The firm effortlessly navigates through a spectrum of styles, whether embracing traditional grandeur, evoking contemporary chic, or orchestrating a harmonious fusion of both.

Internationally recognized, his projects have spanned the globe, from Cabo to Stockholm and across the United States. Winner of Traditional Home’s “Designer of the Year” award and featured on Luxe’s 2017 Gold List, Watson’s work has been featured in numerous publications including Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Veranda, Luxe, Cottages & Gardens and Traditional Home.
Watson has designed three best-selling furniture collections for Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman and is currently working on his fourth. He recently completed a line of couture outdoor carpets for Doris Leslie Blau. His current projects include a Napa Valley winery, an estate in St. Louis, a cottage in Northern Michigan and numerous places in and around New York City. Watson divides his time between his Upper West Side office and his home in East Hampton, and writes a bi-weekly column for the Southampton Press.
