Francesca Owen is an acclaimed painter recognized for her compelling use of color and texture. She received her education at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art on a scholarship, studying under renowned artist Phyllida Barlow RA CBE, where she earned multiple accolades, including the Euan Uglow Memorial Scholarship.
Her artwork has been exhibited in galleries throughout the UK, and she has led insightful discussions at venues such as Porthmeor Studios in St Ives. Francesca has taught courses at St Ives School of Painting and continues to offer her own classes. Her artistic journey includes several residencies, notably in Southeast Asia and Cornwall.
