Description
This painting has a sense of serenity about it. The figure is resting on a large exotic plant and she is waiting for her love to come back. The lemon yellow colours are light and playful and are used in the reflection of the water in the foreground. The painting has a glow to it because of the composition of the plants at either side of the lake and the figure in between who is waiting.

Francesca Owen is an award winning artist who trained at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art in London and completed an MA at Falmouth University.
Francesca has worked with both UK and International galleries, exhibiting paintings and installation, giving talks and courses on landscape painting, pigments and dyes.
Francesca has exhibited work in SE Asia, London, Devon and Cornwall.
