Hyun Joo Hong is a South Korean–born multidisciplinary visual artist based in Paris. A graduate of Dongguk University’s École des Beaux-Arts in Seoul, she merges traditional Korean techniques with contemporary minimalism. Her work explores themes of stillness, perception, and balance, often using subtle color fields and geometric forms to create a sense of visual harmony and quiet tension. Through a restrained yet expressive approach, she invites viewers to reflect on the space between form and emptiness.
