Le Verre Francais
French
Le Verre Francais was a celebrated line of French art glass produced by the Schneider Glassworks in Épinay-sur-Seine between 1918 and 1933. Founded by brothers Charles and Ernest Schneider, the studio became known for its exquisite multi-layered cameo glass designs featuring floral and nature-inspired motifs. Each piece was hand-crafted, with layers of colored glass etched to reveal intricate patterns, often signed “Le Verre Francais” or “Charder.” Popular during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, these vibrant creations were sold in fine Parisian galleries and internationally, admired for their artistic beauty and craftsmanship.
