Svenska Möbelfabriken Bodafors was a Swedish furniture manufacturer established in 1898 in the town of Bodafors in southern Sweden. The company produced high-quality furniture with a focus on modern design, and it became known for its functional and stylish pieces. The company collaborated with several renowned designers, including Axel Einar Hjorth, Folke Ohlsson, and Carl Malmsten, among others. Bodafors' furniture was often made of local woods such as birch, ash, and oak, and it was characterized by clean lines, minimalist designs, and high-quality craftsmanship. The company remained in operation until 1991 when it was acquired by IKEA.
