Rare Carl-Harry Stålhane Glazed Ceramic Vase in Harfur Glaze, Rörstrand, 1950s

Description
This rare stoneware vase was designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane and produced by Rörstrand in Sweden. The elegant, bulbous bottle-shaped form is finished in a beautiful hand-applied hare’s fur glaze in warm earthy tones. The glaze transitions seamlessly from a rich honey-brown body to subtle olive and smoky charcoal hues around the shoulder and neck, creating exceptional depth and a finely textured surface. The delicate vertical streaking, characteristic of this glaze technique, makes every example unique.

The vase is in very good original condition. It is marked to the base with the Rörstrand logo, Sweden, CHS (Carl-Harry Stålhane), and the model designation.
