An exceptional large lidded jar designed and handcrafted by celebrated Mexican artist Emilia Castillo in Taxco, Mexico. This striking piece is executed in white porcelain inlaid with pure silver, featuring a sculptural jaguar resting atop the lid, surrounded by Castillo’s signature dragonfly motifs and leopard-inspired silver detailing along the base.
The jar is signed “Emilia Castillo, Plata Pura, Mexico, E”, confirming its authenticity and heritage. Measuring 10.25 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 6.25 inches deep, it is both a functional vessel and a collectible work of art.
