  • Description
Colourful small ceramic Art deco round box by Faïenceries et Emaux de Longwy made around 1940. This red box features the classic flower motif in varying shades of yellow, oarange and cream, and Longwy's signature craquelure glaze. The Longwy manufacture has hundreds of years of tradition, their golden age is clearly the 1920s and 1940s when the cloisonné technique reached a creative Art deco peak. A collectible piece, very decorative, found in a very good vintage condition. Perfect as a gift, it can be used as a ring or jewellery box.
