An authentic antique “Jarres de Biot,” or Biot jars in English sourced from the South of France. These clay jars are named after the town from which they originated, nestled in Southern France, and were made to store and transport olives, as well as flour, oil, and other foods. Item dates to the early 19th century. This is an antique item and shows signs of wear from its history.
