This Revival Period room size urban NW Persian carpet shows a sand field closely covered with an attractive, unnamed allover pattern of rust-red joined arabesques and linking navy bosses, all further detailed in straw and green. Navy strip style main border with octofoils, octogrammes and pine cones in palmettes. Short, upright pile, hard velvet texture, well-woven. Cotton foundation.
