Description
The rust-red field displays a navy notched and lobed ogival medallion with dramatic curved and fishhook barbed leaves and four radiating palmettes. Many more barbed, curved leaves, along with ecru-straw vinery and assorted palmettes flow about in the field. Navy and cream corners. Royal blue, green and rose details. Navy border with octofoils, palmettes, rotating pointed rosettes, lancet leaves and angular connecting vinery. Leathery, firm texture; all-cotton foundation. Well-woven. Good condition.
