A set of 24 George III silver dinner plates by Henry Nutting 1810, each of circular form with a gadrooned edge, the rim engraved with the heraldic arms of Denison, fully marked and incised with inventory numbers, 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 46, 47 and 48. Marks for London, 1810.
Footnotes: The arms appear to be those of William Joseph Denison, Esq. of Denbies Co Surrey, (b1770), High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1808 and Member of Parliament for Surrey from 1818. -
