Description
An elegant silver-plated bottle coaster designed by renowned Mexican artisan Emilia Castillo, celebrated for her sophisticated interpretations of traditional silversmithing and contemporary design. Fully marked "Emilia Castillo / TO-85 / Mexico M.R. / Plateado," this beautifully crafted coaster exemplifies Castillo's signature blend of refined craftsmanship and modern aesthetics.
Executed in silver-plated brass, the coaster features a hand-hammered exterior with a striking architectural pierced checkerboard gallery rim, creating an airy geometric profile while securely cradling a wine, champagne, or spirits bottle. The interior is fitted with its original cork insert, protecting surfaces while providing stability, making it equally functional and decorative.
Its clean architectural lines and timeless Modernist styling make this an exceptional accent for a bar cart, dining table, wine cellar, or entertaining space. Whether displayed alone or paired with other Emilia Castillo barware and serving pieces, it brings an understated elegance rooted in the rich tradition of Mexican metalwork.
A wonderful addition for collectors of Emilia Castillo, Mexican silver, Taxco design, and luxury tabletop accessories.
