    This stoneware bowl was designed by Gunnar Nylund and produced in Sweden in the late 1960s. Nylund designed many classics for the Swedish ceramic factory Rörstrand. One of the most well-known series is Rubus from 1965, consisting of stoneware bowls and vases.

    This wonderfully textured ceramic bowl is finished with a mottled matte glaze in earthy tones, with beautiful hues of brown, green, gray and sand colors. Organically modeled form with a carved gouged surface and flowing brown glaze over a pale gray stoneware. The bowl is marked on the bottom with Rörstrand’s symbol (R), GN, Sweden, and the model number w.

    Overall in good, fully original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
