Free form abstract acrylic on canvas painting by the American artist, Harry Hilson. Signed lower right. Signed and dated, 1977 verso. All four sides of artwork are painted so as not to need frame. Condition: Very good. Provenance: Sarasota, Florida estate.
About the Artist:
As an artist Hilson did thousands of paintings over a fifty year career and completed many major commissions that included work for the Smithsonian Institution, IBM Corporation, Kimberly Clark Corporation, Nations Bank, City of Baltimore, City of Miami Beach, Crown Center Corporation, and many, many others. In the 1990's he founded a corporation, Fine Art Inc., that creates framed prints for retail dealers world wide. -
