The San Remo Central Park West Framed by Cherry Blossoms Flowers

$ 7,000
  • Description
    A circle of cherry blossoms frames the two spires of the iconic San Remo. This is not a staged image. Photographer Mitchell Funk found the right location, angle, and arrangement of naturally hanging flowers to capture this unique image of a highly photographed subject. Funk's image elicits a sense of romance of a bygone era while engaging the viewer's sense of spatial relationships. The extreme close-up of the flowers and far away San Remo silhouette are both in focus. This is more than a beautiful photograph. It's a mind-stimulating eye-opener.
