Description
Founded by Albano Poli, Poliarte has been synonymous with sculptural lighting design since the 1950s. The Italian brand combines artisanal craftsmanship with innovative materials, creating pieces that blend functionality and artistic expression. Each creation reflects a balance between tradition and modernity, designed to elevate interiors with timeless elegance.
Design
This applique by Albano Poli showcases Poliarte's mastery of glass and light. The facade features beaten cristallo glass interspersed with amber strips, producing a striking visual contrast. Aluminum profiles frame the glass on both sides, doubling as functional supports that allow the lamp to slide seamlessly along its backplate. The backplate is equipped with an E27 light fixture, ensuring compatibility with various bulbs. When illuminated, the design exudes a warm, sophisticated ambiance, highlighting the craftsmanship behind every detail. A Poliarte Verona sticker confirms its authenticity and origin.
This applique exemplifies Albano Poli’s vision of merging art with utility. Its minimalist yet distinctive design makes it an ideal choice for those seeking understated elegance in their spaces. With its combination of refined materials and functional design, this piece continues Poliarte’s legacy of timeless lighting solutions.
Condition
The aluminum show some signs of oxidation which, furthermore the condition is very good. -
