Description
Pair of glass 'Cubosfera' table lamps designed by Alessandro Mendini for Fidenza Vetraria (ca. 1968, Italy).
Intriguing geometric composition featuring two cast glass square forms, each with hollow semicircular interiors, which, when assembled, create a spherical central globe housing two sockets.
The decorative metal finial is loosened to remove the top and change the bulbs.
Excellent, vintage condition - there are small white flecks, as shown, which are from the hand-sanding/casting process - no flaws to note, sans patina to the metal finial.
Original Italian sockets, wiring, and plug (plug will be changed for US use, unless otherwise requested).
Each lamp takes two E14 bulbs - we are using three 30 Watt equivalent LED bulbs.
