Description
Arne Jacobsen 'AJ 50' Black Outdoor Wall Light for Louis Poulsen
The 'AJ' series was originally designed in 1957 by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen for the lighting collection of the iconic SAS Royal Hotel. Today, his furniture and lighting designs are sought after by collectors worldwide.
Executed in die-cast aluminum with a frosted glass LED enclosure, the 'AJ 50' was launched to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the 'AJ' family. The shade is painted white on the inside, ensuring a soft comfortable downward-directed light distribution. One of Arne Jacobsen's design aspirations was to use the latest energy-saving technology which is why the 'AJ 50' features an LED light source.
Price is per item. Available in unlimited quantities in choice of black, white, or natural painted aluminum/grey with a powder-coated texture. Please specify when ordering. The AJ series includes indoor wall, floor lamp, full sized and mini table lamp, and outdoor bollard versions. Please contact us for details.
