Pair of Arne Jacobsen Special Edition AJ Wall Lamps in Original Grey for Louis Poulsen.

In 1957 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, this iconic wall lamp could be found in beautiful rows in the lobby when the hotel was opened in 1960. In 2020, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the SAS Royal, Louis Poulsen released this limited edition AJ wall lamp in original gray, which has since sold out. This rare and collectable pair is likely the only new stock available anywhere in its original factory packaging.  

Executed in spun steel, the 'AJ Wall' lamp's iconic shade emits a comfortable, downward focused light. The angle of the shade can be tilted approximately 90 degrees up and down and 60 degrees to each side to optimize light distribution. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light.
