Description
This French Art Deco chandelier presents a striking modernist profile, built around a broad circular glass disc with a lightly textured, shimmering surface and green-tinted edge that catches the light beautifully. The center is dominated by a polished nickel dome with concentric stepped rings, creating a layered “satellite” effect that is both sculptural and highly reflective. The downrod and canopy are executed in nickel-plated metal with turned details and stacked ring accents, echoing the geometry of the disc and reinforcing the streamlined 1930s aesthetic seen in French modernist lighting.
The piece is currently shown suspended from a chain; overall proportions make it perfect over a dining table, kitchen island, or in a foyer where a low, horizontal silhouette is desired. The chandelier has been recently rewired for US use and is ready to install; standard medium-base sockets are housed behind the central dome to diffuse light across the glass disc and downward. This elegant fixture would pair seamlessly with Art Deco furniture, transitional interiors, or contemporary spaces looking for a bold vintage statement from the French decorative arts tradition.
Ships from North Miami Beach, Florida. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended; ceiling canopy and chain will be included, and drop can be adjusted to suit the space. - More Information
