ASEA produced models are pieces of Swedish lighting history. The historic company has had a decisive impact on how the Swedish electro-technical industry has developed, but also on design history. This innovative mid-century floor lamp seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, reflecting the era's design ethos. Crafted with precision and aesthetic finesse, this lamp is a testament to Swedish ingenuity. The lamp's foundation is made up of a robust brass base, ensuring stability and durability. The combination of brass, leather, and fabric create a harmonious contrast, epitomizing the 20th century design principles that sought to marry functionality with form, as well as elegance. The most peculiar element of the design is the so-called goose-neck that holds the fabric shade. A goose-neck is a semi-rigid, flexible joining element made from a coiled metal hose. It can be bent in almost any direction and remain in that position; in this case, this innovative element allows the light to be focused in any direction.
