Description
A monumental and elegant Mid-Century brass floor lamp from the 1950s, designed and executed by Bakalowits & Söhne in Vienna, Austria. Expertly crafted from brass, this lamp features a 20-inch diameter lampshade and a round base with charming small feet. The true highlight, however, is the stunning handle made of thick, solid glass. Not only does it add a striking visual element, but it also beautifully reflects the light. The lamp has developed a gorgeous patina over the decades, enhancing its vintage charm. The lamp offers two light sources and has been newly rewired with golden textile cord while preserving the original switch located beneath the shade. The lampshade has been professionally restored in a refined, elegant light grey fabric, with the original frame carefully maintained to ensure its authentic proportions and measurements.
