Description
Elegant pair of Swedish modern table lamps by Bergboms, model B-024, produced in the 1960s. A refined example of Scandinavian minimalism, these lamps combine clean architectural lines with the warmth of polished brass.
Each lamp features a flared trumpet-form base rising to a slender cylindrical stem, executed entirely in brass with a rich, mirror-polished finish. The proportions are balanced and restrained, characteristic of Bergboms' understated yet luxurious design language. The lamps are topped with wide, slightly tapered white shades that provide soft, even diffusion of light, supported by an acrylic disc.
The original pull-switch mechanism is integrated discreetly beneath the socket housing and the underside retains the Bergboms marking.
When illuminated, the brass surface reflects a warm glow, enhancing the sculptural silhouette and adding depth to the surrounding space. Ideal as bedside lamps, on a console, or flanking a sofa.
