Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Bruno Karlsson and produced by Ego Stengods Ateljé in Sweden during the 1960s. The lamp is signed with the manufacturer's name and the designer's initials on the underside of the base.
The striking ceramic base is finished with a beautiful glaze in an abstract gradient, showcasing a harmonious blend of hues in yellow, brown, and beige. This creates an intriguing texture and depth, adding to the lamp's visual appeal. The drum-shaped shade is newly covered in a smooth, ivory-colored fabric, complementing the base.
The lamp is in very good condition, rewired and with a completely new shade. Currently with a 220V European plug and a standard E26/E27 light fitting. Dimensions: Total height including shade: 38 cm / 14.96 inches Height of the base only: 27 cm/ 10.63 inches Diameter of shade: 20 cm / 7.87 inches Diameter of base: 13 cm / 5.12 inches
