Description
Charlotte Perriand 'Pivotante À Poser' table lamp. Originally designed in 1950 by the iconic Charlotte Perriand, these newly produced authorized re-editions are still made in France by Nemo with the highest level of integrity and attention to detail. Executed in blue, yellow or white painted metal with a 360 degree rotating shade. Innovative design for the 1950s but still a contemporary table lamp. The lighting output is adjusted by the opening or closure of the volets. Its cylindrical body opens on two sides on which two diffusers rotate allowing the opening and closing of the light beam to adjust the light in a direct or indirect way. Steel base painted in matte grey, body in rolled metal sheet painted in white, yellow or blue. Switch on cable.
Price is per item. Accommodates a single medium base e26 60w bulb. UL listed. Switch on cable. 8.2' of cord. US wall plug.
Available in unlimited quantities. Out of stock lead-time 7-8 weeks or more. Availability can change without notice.
To Charlotte Perriand, lamps were not a decorative element added for no reason, but a functional and technical component, a tool and an object answering to specific needs. Perriand’s minimalistic approach instills a timeless character in her creations: these are the “Useful Forms” that came from the movement she co-founded in 1949. Like Perriand’s furniture, her lamps are not immovable, but rotate and bend themselves, adjusting to our needs. -
