Description
This rare floor lamp was produced in Denmark in the late 1950s. The lamp features a distinctive slightly raised, three legged base crafted from solid brass. The central stem in teak wood is made in a triangular shape, adding to the architectural appearance of the design. The shade is mounted on a brass fixture with two light sources, allowing for a pleasant and even light distribution. The design is completed by the removable opaque, yellow light diffuser placed on top of the shade and a brass finial detail. The slightly tapered shade has been renewed in a beautifully textured, very subtly shimmering fabric with gold, ivory and beige hues. The lamp is in very good original condition. The brass and wood with a natural and even patina. The shade has been completely renewed. There are some minor color differences/faded areas on the yellow perspex diffuser mounted on top of the shades. This is not disturbing once installed but the perspex diffuser can also easily be removed or replaced entirely if desired. Currently with a 220V European Plug and two standard E26/27 light bulb fittings.
