This refined and sophisticated pair of Mid Century Modern table lamps were realized by the esteemed maker Design Techniques in the United States circa 1970. The feature cylindrical bodies that taper slightly at their base and shoulders hand painted in a high gloss ombre earth tone glaze. The gradient transitions from a dark chocolate at its hourglass form neck to a milky cafe au lait and finally to a cream towards its base. The organic elegance of Design Techniques creations appear as modern today as when they were created more than fifty years ago, attracting the attention of cognoscenti of great Mid Century Design. These lamps are a stunning testament to their practice. With their subtly dynamic form and refined color palate, these lamps would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They also have the noted design Techniques cartouche on the backs .They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition.
