Description
A sculptural Brazilian Modern table lamp by Dominici, Brazil, 1950s—executed in plated chrome and defined by its pure geometric clarity. The polished spherical shade, partially cut to reveal the bulb within, rests on a cylindrical base, creating a bold dialogue between curve and volume characteristic of mid-century Brazilian industrial design.
Fully rewired for contemporary safety and functionality, the lamp maintains its original architectural presence while meeting modern electrical standards. The adjustable head rotates a full 360 degrees, allowing directional light and flexible placement—equally suited for a desk, console, or bedside setting.
The mirrored chrome surface reflects its surroundings with dynamic intensity, reinforcing the piece’s kinetic visual energy. Both functional and sculptural, this lamp exemplifies the optimism and technical experimentation of post-war Brazilian design. A refined yet striking accent, ideal for collectors seeking authentic Brazilian Modern lighting with strong graphic presence and material impact. -
