The piece is attributed to Italian designer Enrico Furio Dominici, known for his forward-thinking approach to mid-century and modernist lighting design. Dominici started Dominici Iluminação Moderna in Italy but eventually relocated to Brazil during the second world war. By the 1970s, Studio Dominici was playing a pivotal role in reintroducing European design sensibilities to the Brazilian market. His work remains sought-after by collectors and design enthusiasts alike for its enduring elegance and thoughtful craftsmanship.
