Table lamp with glass base and painted aluminum structure, Enrico Furio Dominici
-
Description
This modern desk lamp showcases a refined minimalist aesthetic, highlighted by its elegantly curved silhouette and glossy black finish. The lamp features a gracefully arched neck that extends from a sleek, circular glass base, providing both visual balance and a stable foundation. Recently rewired for safety and longevity, it now includes a durable braided power cord and a black power adapter, blending contemporary convenience and safety with timeless design.
The piece is attributed to Italian designer Enrico Furio Dominici, known for his forward-thinking approach to mid-century and modernist lighting design. Dominici started Dominici Iluminação Moderna in Italy but eventually relocated to Brazil during the second world war. By the 1970s, Studio Dominici was playing a pivotal role in reintroducing European design sensibilities to the Brazilian market. His work remains sought-after by collectors and design enthusiasts alike for its enduring elegance and thoughtful craftsmanship. -
