French 19th Century Gilt Bronze Chandelier

Description
Dimensions: 34 ¼” H x 19 ¾” W x 19 ¾” D
This French 19th century slender chandelier is made of gilt bronze and accented with dainty foliate and Neoclassical motifs in lieu of crystals. The elongated fixture incorporates a crown of plumes from which the column descends, cast with a slightly ruched texture to mimic the folds of a silk chandelier chain cover. Draped from the crown to the arms are chains strung with alternating acanthus and beads, repeated underneath the three arms which branch into six lights (for candelabra-base bulbs). From there the chandelier column tapers into a thin spike decorated with an artichoke finial at the point. Note the fixture has been professionally cleaned and rewired to US electrical standards using UL-listed parts and is ready to be installed in your interior.
