Description
Designed by Gaetano Scolari for Stilnovo adjustable counterweight ceiling or suspension light model A5011, Italy, 1950. This modernist ceiling or pendant light is composed of a black enameled metal lampshade over perforated brass and molded glass diffuser and central brass drop ring decorative element, hung from brass mount, black cord and brass counterweight. The counterweight and pulley system allows the flexibility for this pendant light to be adjustable in height to fit your space. When lit, the light is beautifully illuminated by the reflection from the white enameled inside shade and diffused through the perforated brass and patterned glass. This iconic Stilnovo model with signature black enamel and gold brass displays the avant-garde design and impeccable craftsmanship by one of Italy's leading midcentury lighting makers.
Rewired for U.S. standards including UL listing and custom ceiling plate. -
