Description
A Laurel Lamp Company Brutalist table lamp commonly attributed to Harry Balmer but in reality was designed by Richard Barr in the 1960s.
The lamp is all original with its brass finial and shade.

"Hello we are reaching out on behalf of the Laurel Lamp Foundation. This is a Laurel lamp that is misattributed to the wrong designer. Our foundation finds no relationship between Laurel and Balmer. "The Laurel Lamp Foundation""After speaking with Harry Balmer’s family, our non profit foundation confirmed with them that there is no documented relationship between Balmer and Laurel. This piece appears in the 1968 Laurel catalogs. The Laure designers at the time were Richard Barr and Harold Weiss. With the approval and encouragement of the Balmer family, our Foundation is actively working, to correct these misattributions. Thank you"
