French Vintage Gilt Bronze Chandelier in the Style of Maison Baguès

A dazzling French gilt bronze and crystal chandelier from the mid-20th century to illuminate your dining room, foyer, or other glamorous space. This Maison Baguès style frame has true depth and sculptural interest from a hammered, or chiseled, texture beneath the gilding that has aged to patchy craquelure and areas of dark patina. It is mounted to the ceiling by a large canopy of giltwood, carved in a stylized sun or sunflower design bursting into spiky corona. The multitude of tiers and scrolled hooks are dripping with a variety of glass shapes: pendalogues, stars, chains, and a crystal ball to catch the light from six faux candles using candelabra-base bulbs. Take comfort knowing this fixture has been professionally cleaned and rewired for US electrical using UL-listed parts and is ready to be hung in your interior.
