Description
This stunning Art Deco Machine Age table lamp, created in France circa 1930 and signed by Marcel Guillard, embodies the sophisticated aesthetic of the Art Deco era. The lamp features a beautifully textural craquelure ceramic body covered in a soft cream glaze, elegantly accented with gray linear detailing, giving it a harmonious blend of texture and form.
The streamlined silhouette and geometric elegance are hallmarks of both Machine Age and Guillard’s signature design sensibilities. The meticulous detailing and delicate glaze highlight the exceptional craftsmanship that characterizes Guillard’s work, making this piece as much a sculptural work of art as it is functional lighting.
This lamp is a perfect addition for collectors or connoisseurs of Art Deco design, offering timelessly chic and historical sophistication to any interior space. Signed on the undersurface denoting the artist and maker. Newly rewired to American Standards and fitted with a custom Gallery Shade, this lamp accommodates one edison base bulb achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
