Overscale Mid-century Ceramic Marcello Fantoni Table Lamp, Custom Shade

Offered for sale is a substantial, oversized Mid-century Modern Marcello Fantoni ( Italian, 1915-2011) table lamp that is Impressive in both size and execution. This stunning handmade lamp is hand glazed painted and decorated with great textures. The feel and look is that of a Brutalist Metal sculpture with the architectural stacking of components that are supported upon a square wood base. The lamp is fitted with its vintage custom-made lampshade that is in good condition.

Fantoni was a Florentine artist who specialized in ceramics. He studied at the Art Institute in Florence and later produced ceramic works that are held in some of the world's most important museums.
