Description
Each fixture is composed of four curved cristallo glass shades projecting symmetrically from a central patinated brass body, the whole forming a four-pointed cross silhouette. The glass throughout is the characteristic Fontana Arte cristallo — frosted with the subtle blue-green tint at the edges that signals the firm's signature material.
The pair is documented in Vitrum No. 100, February 1958, page 38, the international glass industry periodical of record for Italian glasshouse production during the period.
The interior of each fixture retains its original painted finish and period patina. Glass throughout is in excellent condition.
Professionally rewired and UL Listed. -
