Description
This stunning Mid-Century Modernist pendant chandelier is a shining example of vintage Czechoslovakian design from the 1960s. The chandelier features a faceted pressed glass construction that refracts light beautifully, creating depth and texture. Paired with a frosted glass diffuser, the design ensures a soft and even glow, perfect for creating a warm ambiance in any space.
At the bottom of the chandelier, a circular brass fitting elegantly supports the frosted glass diffuser while incorporating spherical glass ball detailing. This additional feature adds an extra layer of allure and sophistication, enhancing the overall design. The brass fittings throughout the piece bring understated elegance and complement the clean, geometric lines that define mid-century aesthetics.
The combination of refined glasswork, polished brass, and thoughtful detailing reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Czechoslovakian artisans were renowned. Ideal for modern interiors, this chic lighting fixture blends functionality with artistic flair, making it a timeless centerpiece for dining rooms, living spaces, or entryways. Newly rewired to American Standards and with height that can be adjusted to suit, this chandelier accommodates 4 Edison Base bulbs Achieving up to 240 Watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
