Description
This modernist Murano chandelier features an exquisite array of hand-blown smoked glass polyhedra, suspended on an elegant brass frame. Crafted in Italy in the 21st century, it pays homage to the iconic Venetian glass blowing tradition while reinterpreting it with contemporary design aesthetics.
The chandelier's polyhedral glass elements—each individually blown and showcasing a soft, smoky hue—create a stunning interplay of light and shadow when illuminated. The glasswork's craftsmanship highlights the impeccable attention to detail associated with Murano artisans. The frame’s brass fittings add a touch of warmth and sophistication while complementing the organic yet geometric aesthetic of the glass.
This chandelier is a striking statement piece, perfect for enhancing dining rooms, entryways, or living spaces. Its fusion of traditional Murano glass artistry with a modernist aesthetic makes it ideal for both contemporary and transitional interiors. A true testament to the enduring appeal of Italian craftsmanship. Newly rewired to American Standards and with height that can be adjusted to suit, this chandelier accommodates 5 Candelabra base bulbs achieving up to 300 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
