This exquisite “Palma” chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy, the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It consists of three tiers of hand blown translucent Murano glass in the form of stylized palm leaves suspended from a polished chrome frame. The fixture offers a faceted orbital glass finial adorned with faceted cross hatched detailing, ensconced within the lowest tier of Palma glass. With its monochromatic palate, clean lines, and classically inspired design, this spectacular chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary, and even traditional. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The fixture accommodates 9 Edison based bulbs offering up to 900 watts of light.
