Vintage Italian Chrome and Glass Collapsible Table Lamp by Oscar Torlasco

Adjustable/collapsible task or table lamp designed by Oscar Torlasco for Stilkronen (ca. 1970s, Italy).
Composed of two angled half-cylinder components connected by a hinge that allows the top to extend out. Features two thick, lenticular optical glass lens diffusers.
A unique design that marries industrial design and modernist /space age aspects with the use of industrial metals (chrome in this case) contrasted by the soft light diffused by the optical glass lenses.
Note that the lamp was not designed to be fully collapsible, as the thick glass lenses prevent the top from fully closing shut.
Excellent, vintage condition with only light, insignificant wear present to the chrome and light patina to the black painted cap on the reverse.
Lamp takes two E14 Candelabra Light Bulbs. (We are using two 3W -30 Watt Equivalent - E14 LED Bulbs.)
EU plugs will be replaced for US use, unless otherwise requested.
