Pair Mid-Century Green Cased Opaline Lamps
-
Description
The life-filled green of this pair of lamps is breath-taking. The blown glass bodies appear to be cased opaline--whose manufacture is now prohibited due to the lead content of the glass. We are attributing either Denmark or Sweden as the origin of this gorgeous glass as the form fits within the parameters of Scandinavia Design. All elements of the lamps are original and in good condition. We have had the lamps rewired and fitted with new sockets. The slightly amorphous form of the lamps is unusual and an attention grabber. The lamps can be placed in multiple setting from mid-century to period designs. The shades can be purchased separately.
