Description
A beautifully scaled pair of 19th century Tuscan chandeliers, combining carved wood elements with hand-forged iron in a distinctly rustic yet refined Italian aesthetic.
Each chandelier features a classic two-tier configuration with twelve candelabra lights, gracefully arranged along scrolling iron arms that exhibit elegant movement and balance. The central shafts and bobeches are richly finished in aged silverleaf, now softened to a warm, timeworn patina with areas of natural wear that enhance their authenticity and character.
Contrasting the luminous silvered elements, the dark iron arms retain their original hand-worked texture, lending a sculptural quality and visual depth. Subtle foliate details and stylized accents at the lower finial further underscore the craftsmanship typical of Tuscan decorative arts of the period.
The overall composition achieves a harmonious balance between rustic strength and classical refinement—making these chandeliers particularly versatile in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Professionally rewired for the US market, each fixture accommodates twelve candelabra bulbs and is ready for installation. -
