Pair of Mid-Century Table Lamps in Smoked Murano Glass with Brass Fittings

Description
This sophisticated pair of Mid-Century Modern handblown table lamps were realized in Murano, Italy- the Venetian island renowned for producing some of the highest quality glass for centuries, circa 1960. These pieces feature round black enamel bases topped with a ring of brass. The organic forms of the smoked Murano glass flare are recede as they extend upwards to their cylindrical tops. The fixtures feature brass fittings throughout, including brass torch form finials complete with stylized flames and custom linen shades in a champagne hue. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
